Through the Boxring Stuttgart app or the online schedule. Booking is required to take part: you cannot join a class without a booking.
This is how it works in the app:
You can book classes up to ten days in advance.
Yes. Because the number of participants is limited, your booked place stays reserved for you.
It helps you organise your training, including training plans, an exercise library, progress tracking, nutrition tracking, and community and organisation features.
With your membership you currently get 8 credits every month. Each credit books one class in the app. The credit is used when you book, whether you attend or not, and cannot be transferred.
Unused credits expire at the end of the month; new ones are available at the start of the next month. In the month you join, you get your credits pro rata. You can see how many credits you have at any time in the app.
You can cancel a booked class in the app up to 24 hours before it starts and get your credit back. If you cancel later or do not show up, the credit is used. This keeps places fair for everyone.
Every regular class costs one credit. As a member, you book Open Gym and Open Sparring without credits.
Check in with the QR code in the Boxring Stuttgart app when you enter the gym.
You take off your street shoes right at the entrance: street shoes are not allowed anywhere in the building. You may only step onto the training area in clean sports shoes. In kickboxing you train without shoes, but never barefoot: you wear ankle guards that cover your feet, plus shin guards.
For regular training you need hand wraps, boxing gloves, a mouthguard and possibly a skipping rope. For kickboxing you also need ankle guards and shin guards. You can get most items from us at the gym.
Wrapping your hands correctly matters for stability, safety and protection. You will find plenty of guides online and on YouTube. Make sure the hand wraps are firm but not too tight. If you are unsure, our coaches are happy to help.
Only bring onto the training area what you need for training. Everything else goes in the lockers; please do not leave anything in the changing room either. Help keep the gym clean and be considerate of our neighbours.
Yes, for all members. You will find the invitation link at the gym or in the Boxring Stuttgart app under Community: scroll down a little there, some posts contain the invitation to the WhatsApp group.
By direct debit: at the start of each month, the fee for the current month is collected. In the month you join, you only pay a pro-rata amount; it is initiated right after you join. The debit usually follows one to two days later.
You will find the current fees on our membership page (in German).
Send your cancellation via our contact form. If it arrives by the 24th of a month, your membership ends at the end of that month; if it arrives later, at the end of the following month.
If you rejoin, a one-time administration fee of up to 25 euros may apply.
The membership contract, the terms and conditions, the Gym Rules and the privacy policy you receive when you sign up are binding.
If you take part through the university sports programme of the University of Stuttgart or the University of Hohenheim, the following applies instead: you receive a one-time credit package for the semester, with no monthly top-up. The credits are only valid in that semester and expire afterwards. Open Gym, Open Sparring and fighter classes are not included.
Your account, the app and class booking work as described above. The questions about fees and contract apply to club members.
